Today’s prayer
Supreme Source of Life, I give thanks not only for pleasant memories but also for the difficult seasons through which I have traveled. Some moments offered joy; others demanded patience I did not know I possessed. All have become part of the person I am becoming.
Help me make peace with the past without pretending every hurt was good. Let me honor what I survived, take responsibility where I caused harm, and release the belief that one mistake defines my future. Teach me to celebrate progress that cannot be measured by money or applause.
As this first week closes, deepen my gratitude into a way of living. May I enter the coming days with open eyes, a teachable spirit, and appreciation for both what has arrived and what is still unfolding. So may it be.
The opening and closing are suggestions. Use your own words for the sacred, or none at all.
A two-minute pause
Breathe naturally. With each breath out, quietly name one thing that is already sustaining you right now: a person, a skill, a meal, a roof, a breath.
There is no timer. Close the guide whenever you are ready.
If you like, add quiet background sound with Ambient sound at the top of the prayer.
